Gift Card & Loyalty Q&A

  • How much is a rewards point worth? Currently, each point carries a value of $0.05 (100 points = $5.00). Points cannot be redeemed for cash and are only eligible for purchases from the store.

  • Are there other rewards besides just points for purchases? Yes! By signing up and providing your birthday, you’ll also receive a bonus free beverage on your birthday each year (can be redeemed within 10 days of your birthday). From time to time there will also be bonus point promotions and other opportunities to increase your rewards points balance.

  • How will I know my gift card was sent or received? You will receive a notification once the gift card recipient opens the message, so you can ensure it was received. You may also send us a message if you have questions about any online gift card purchases.

  • How do I use an eGift Card? In store, the gift card holder/recipient simply needs to provide the e-mail address, phone number, name or scan code. We can look up the balance and apply it to the existing transaction. You can also use gift cards at our in-store self-order kiosk and (coming soon) for online food/beverage ordering through our website (NOTE: gift cards cannot be used for merchandise purchases on our website).

  • How do I make sure to get my rewards when I make a purchase? Our TradeWind Perks loyalty program is one of the simplest to use of any rewards program - really! Once you register your e-mail or phone, your payment card is automatically tracked along with your account. This can be a gift card, e-gift card or regular credit/debit card. So after the first time registering and using your card, you simply swipe your card at the register as you would any other time, and your rewards are tracked without ever having to enter your contact info again.

  • How do I get rewards or redeem points if I’m paying with cash? You can always request to add your rewards points to a transaction in store. Simply ask the cashier to look up your rewards balance and apply points. You can also be sure to collect rewards points by entering your e-mail/phone at the end of the transaction. However, we highly recommend pre-loading a gift card with cash, so that you can simply swipe a card during check out to automatically redeem and accrue rewards.

  • Do I receive points for purchasing gift cards? No - points are only accrued on purchases of food, beverage and merchandise items. While points will be accrued on those purchases made using a gift card balance, there are no points accrued for purchases of gift cards or e-gift cards.

  • What if I am using a new gift/credit/debit card that’s not on my loyalty account? If our register doesn’t recognize your card as tied to an existing loyalty account, it will prompt you to sign up for rewards, and you can choose to enter your existing account e-mail/phone at that time.

  • What if I need to remove a card that is listed with my account? You can always manage your loyalty account to view points balance, past transactions and verify or remove cards that are tied to your account. You can also send us a message and we can help you manage your existing loyalty account.
